AEF’s website design was outdated and not mobile-friendly, the content was difficult to keep up to date, and there was no facility for processing payments online. They knew they needed a change, and turned to Spark to help them make it happen.
We took things back to basics by sitting down and producing new branding guidelines based on our discussions with them. Their main concerns – apart from something much more fresh and modern – were to maintain their existing logo due to its familiarity and the history behind it, and to ensure that the new site incorporated Aboriginal artwork into the designs.
Once branding was defined, we expanded it into full design specifications for both the new AEF site and the sub-site for their Family and Youth Services arm.
After the designs were approved, we set about building the new site, which includes a conversion-focused online donation process, a directory of their affiliated churches and pastors, and much more.
